Lititz was an early Lancaster County settlement. The Moravians built a church and school there shortly after they had done the same thing in Bethlehem, PA. Events in Lititz included the annual art show, Moravian Christmas festivities and activites at beautiful Lititz Springs Park. The world famous Wibur Chocolate Company is located right on Main Street. The streets of Lititz have many unusual shops and boutiques. At the old Sturgis Pretzel House you can make your own pretzel. The Sutter Inn, named after the Sutter of Sutter's Gold Rush fame, who was a native son,is an excellent venue for fine dining.Lititz is also well known for its many fine household auctions held by the Elmer Murry Company.
