About New Holland, Lancaster County PA!

New Holland is located on Route 23 east . It was settled by Swiss and Germans who came seeking religious freedom. Many of them left from Dutch ports. They were so impressed by the generosity of the Dutch that they named their town New Holland. New Holland is home to the New Holland Sales Stables. Every Monday farmers come to bid on livestock. Weaver Chicken is produced in New Holland. The New Holland Fiat Group, a manufacturer of farm machinery, is located here. New Holland has a fair in the fall.
